Mike Chavez, the refuge manager neighboring the Tinnin Hunt Club, is a seasoned guide for upland bird and crane hunts during the hunting season. Having helped out on the ranch since he was a young boy, Mike is deeply connected to the land and its traditions. Over the years, he has become more than just a partner—he is treated as a valued member of the Tinnin family. Shane Austin, who married into the Tinnin family, has become a vital part of the Tinnin Hunt Club’s success. While we joke that he’s often “voluntold” to help out, Shane embraces his role with enthusiasm, guiding big game, upland birds, and crane hunts. Gage Cheek, the youngest member of our team, moved to the Tinnin Hunt Club from Texas and quickly found his place as a dedicated ranch hand. Living on the property, Gage has embraced the hunting and ranching lifestyle with passion. Eager to learn from Robbie and always ready to lend a hand, he’s a hardworking and enthusiastic addition to the team. Justin Thomas is a dedicated ranch hand who lives nearby and juggles his responsibilities as a full-time firefighter with his work at Tinnin Hunt Club.
